How to Apply

Detailed information on project eligibility can be found in the STBG/SNK guidance document or the TA guidance document.

  1. Download the application appropriate for your funding and project type. Applications are Excel documents.
  2. Complete the application and save the file locally.
  3. (Roadway application only) To save the PAA map and results, use the Windows Snipping tool (Windows Logo Key + Shift + S) to capture a screenshot of the map and results. Save the snippet file and upload as supplemental information
  4. Complete the STBG/SNK/TA Submission Form on this page and submit the appropriate documents and application
  5. A confirmation email, with attachments of your uploaded files, will be sent to the “Contact Email” address

Applications

STBG/SNK Roadway
Ohio Surface Transportation Block Grant or Kentucky Surface Transportation Block Grant for Northern Kentucky (SNK) Roadway Projects.

STBG/SNK Freight
Ohio Surface Transportation Block Grant or Kentucky Surface Transportation Block Grant for Northern Kentucky (SNK) Freight-Related Projects such as infrastructure at intermodal facilities.

STBG/SNK Bicycle-Pedestrian
Ohio Surface Transportation Block Grant or Kentucky Surface Transportation Block Grant for Northern Kentucky (SNK) Bicycle-Pedestrian Projects such as multi-use paths and sidewalks. Bicycle-Pedestrian projects requesting $750,000 or less in Ohio, or $500,000 or less in Kentucky, should use the application for Transportation Alternatives (TA) funding.

STBG/SNK Transit
Ohio Surface Transportation Block Grant or Kentucky Surface Transportation Block Grant for Northern Kentucky (SNK) Transit Projects such as bus purchases or transit facilities.

TA Infrastructure
These funds can be used be for on and off road pedestrian and bicycle facilities, infrastructure projects for improving non-drive access to public transportation and enhanced mobility
